Founded in 1925, Sidelines has been a way for MTSU’s students to get insight into the world of journalism. Students get involved by reporting, designing, and editing for the paper
that is printed once a week. They are printed by the Tennessean in Nashville, Tenn.
“One of the most important aspects of Sidelines is getting to know your peers in the Mass Comm building and creating clips and experience for your future. It may not be the most glamourous newspaper to work for, but it definitely teaches you the basics of working for a newspaper.”
